Wiring Without Circuit Diagrams

With our industry-leading software system, which consists of e·wiring, Components Database, panel, Bundle Calculator, Varianto, and Transfer, our clients are able to easily submit their wiring plans to CadCabel, from which we determine the best bundle layout for any control cabinet. 

Our bundling computation software designs custom, component-ready wire bundles according to each customer's specifications. By calculating optimal wire bundle siyes and individual wire bundle allocations and subsequently coding each individual wire, CadCabel makes wiring without circuit diagrams not only possible, but easy. 

Our bundle technology, available in both round and sequence bundles, uses the most efficient wiring technology available for both single-variant and series control cabinets. Sequence bundles are arranged, for example, so that terminal blocks, PLC cards, connectors, and all equipment are wired from left to right and top to bottom. This makes it possible, for example, to connect 100 wires in only a few minutes. 

To ensure that our bundle technology works in day to day practice, our system technicians and engineers support our clients with Pilot and Turnkey projects during the initial implementation of our technology. 

Flexibility in Bundle Design

In order to create a production file for wire bundle production from the wiring list,the CadCabel Bundling Computationsoftware sorts out connections routed by the panel software program. The result is an optimal bundling layout that assigns a complete wire bundle to each component. 

The program's comprehensive range of functions ensures individual control of wire bundle allocation in a project. This makes it possible, for example, to assign separate wire bundles for door wiring, plug-and-socket connections, or PLC cards before continuing with fully automatic sorting out of the wiring list. Once identified as optimal, wire bundle sequences can be saved and re-used for the next equipment system. 

All production parameters in bundling computation can be adjusted to suit the client's own wiring guidelines.Clients have the option of choosing round or sequenced bundles, and may also select the most important information for labeling individual wire bundles and for coding all wires, including instructions for wiring.

After all required production parameters have been determined, a digital production file is created from this data and sent to CadCabel's ERP server and produciton manufacturing control center, using our Transfer software.
