Fits Any E-CAD System

The e·wiring interface makes it possibile to use project lists (e.g. ERP part lists, .txt files, Excel spreadsheets, HTML files) from any type of E-CAD or other production data system as a database for cabinet design and the production of your device-specific wire bundles. Thus, we can accommodate the differenc characteristics of E-CAD systems such as components, voltage, and terminals, and use any E-CAD program to generate production data for our wiring systems. This enables you to enjoy the advantages of wire bundle technology without making significant changes in your current engineering processes (workflow).

A Cut Above the Rest

e·wiring is a professional plug & play interface specifically developed by CadCabel to generate layout and routing master lists from any E-CAD system (such as Eplan, ELCAD, Ruplan, ecscad, etc.)* including all parts, wiring, terminals, and potential arrows. This ensures that one layout program (panel) can be used with all conventional electrical CAD systems.

The master list generated by e·wiring presents a complete overview of all project data. It alerts the user when data is missing and facilitates data monitoring: Should errors be detected, it is possible in certain electrical CAD systems to access the error source in the respective CAD project from the master list in order to make the necessary corrections.  

Once the master list for a project is created, it is automatically filled out with the required wire attributes (color, cross-section profile) as well as voltage indicators and signals. This reduces to an absolute minimum the manual assignment of wire attributes. The data is then communicated to the routing software program panel. 

Panel is a layout and routing tool that was created and developed by HP Germany and is currently maintained and updated by CIMTEAM, in Ulm, Germany.
